Help Me Find An Apartment In Paris

Hey Everyone

I'm moving to Paris for two months this summer, July 2nd to September 1st roughly, and I need to find an apartment. My French, though rapidly improving, is still terrible and not good enough to search through apartment listings.

So is anyone willing to help me find an apartment in the centre of Paris, 1st to 9th arrondissement? I've searched Craiglist but is there a better local version?

I guess your role would involve searching some listings and visiting a couple of places with me. I would of course make it worth your while in euro's, lemme know and we can discuss rates.

Sufu was awesome and everyone was super helpful when I lived to New York last summer and I'm hoping Paris will be the same.

Gracias, merci, thanks,

EDIT: Something like this would pe perfect, though the price is probably 100 or 200 euros more than I'd like to spend... http://paris.en.craigslist.org/apa/708405994.html

ok,

dont' have much time... but i'm going to explain, finding an appartement in Paris is really easy when you have the money... but when you're not a multimillionnaire, its a bit more difficult.

Just avoid 18éme, 19éme, 20éme...

And if you not really rich don't think about 6éme,7éme,16éme...

and check this out : http://www.paruvendu.fr/communfo/rechercheafscommunfo/default/rechercheafsfo?fullText=Paris&categ=Immobilier&rubriqueKEYWORDS=IVH00000

I agree with kstanl that you should check for short-term vacations rentals, anyway no landlords will rent you an apt for 3 months so just don't bother looking at paruvendu.fr, pap.fr ...

you might be able to find some roomsharing stuff on www.appartager.com.

but i highly recommend a short-term vacation rental... i

Those two are quite good.

Hope that helps, good luck and enjoy
