It seems with Another Boy in the stable, Material Boy is doing a lot less with cotton - silk, sheer and shiny textures everywhere. Just a few shots here, the whole show is linked above.

Yeah it is SS09 for the northern hemisphere... Except it will be in stores in Australia for our spring (starting September in 2008), the same time as your FW08-09.

I don't know if there is a better way of listing seasons, but SS08-09 gives the gist of it.

i forget where i saw it, but i recall someone mentioning we're moving into an era of a top-heavy silhouette; tops/outerwear that is generally more voluminous compared to bottoms

as much as i dig this trend, mat boy and other labels come off a bit as hacks for doing nearly every piece based on that look
