cuffing jeans

i noticed that a lot of people cuff their jeans, but for raw denim, how do you get teh fading on the hem? what do you guys think about that? and if i cuff it all the time, will the place where i fold it, the crease, fade?

Not sure what you mean about fading on the hem, but lines/fading will definitely develop on the crease of the cuff.

fading on the hem occurs when you drag your hem (not to be confused with ham) on the ground. before i washed my dry jeans, i usually let them out 1-1.5" to allow for shrinkage, on some days...i walked around with this portion under my heel, on other days...i cuffed..
