I think it works best when the pants and jacket are two different colors:

However, it can sometimes work if there is something to break up the continuous color, in this case the combination of a shrunken jacket cut and an oxford do the trick.

Every now and then someone will wear a single Dsq2 item with other, more low-key stuff and pull it off, but their runway shows make me gag.

The stuff is too over-the-top to wear more than one piece at a time, IMO.

Jackets are the only part of the collection that I think are decent. Other than that I've always found it more hype than anything else. More suited to women IMO. Other than that it always struck me as an overpriced version of Diesel/Energie, which makes sense since I think Diesel is one of their primary investors. Goes well with a faux-hawk I suppose.

yeah i concur... and the other reason i hate it is because where i'm from its always those eurotrash types that wear it ... but don't know how to pull it off.. so it looks tacky

I don't think I can do it. But then again, I never had a denim jacket. It's something about it that does not appeal to me. But if that floats your boat, I don't see you wear a denim jacket with anything else other than jeans.

i rock my 506xx with a pair of 501xx's all the time...both started out deadstock and i'm trying to get a similar wear on both...sometimes i even throw in a vintage western shirt underneath...haven't gone so far as to don a pair of cowboy boots or a hat to complete the outfit though
