i find it hilarious that the original owner had no idea about its value

bet he's glad he didn't list it for $5 bin.

part of why kids don't understand about why people would pay that much for this cap is because they don't really recognize the difference between actual rarity and manufactured rarity.

Just out of curiousity, I might still have my navy blue Polo light windbreaker/jacket from middle school(circa '92) that had 1992/Stadium patches on it similar to the hat...would this be worth big money?

Does it have 1992 accross the bottom in a white box? Sounds like you might have a plates jacket. Only the caps really go for BIG money. And the occasional snow beach /pwing item that pop ups. Everything else is usually in the $2-800 range. It depends on what it is really. Pics would help.
