LEVI VINTAGE CLOTHING

[1933 501xx Rose Bowl Jean

WORN A FEW TIMES

EXCELLENT CONDITION[/size]

Early LVC Collection - Valencia Street Production - Stamped 555

Label Size 38 x 38 - Actual Size 36 x 36

This ultra rare jean from the 2001 LVC Collection is one of the finest reproductions that Levi's has ever made. It has been made with the finest attention to detail on the original looms at the Valencia Street factory in San Francisco. The factory closed its doors for the final time in 2002 making this jean a collector's item. Of course, like all jeans made in this factory, this particular jean features the silver lined washing care label and is stamped 555 on the back of the waist button. They have belt loops, brace buttons and cinch back to hold the pants up, and exposed rivets to hold them together. They do not have the famous big E red tab as this was not introduced by Levi's until 1936. They do however have the two horse leather patch and are made from Cone Mills XX red lined selvage denim. The finish on this jean is my favourite out of all the LVC reproductions as they have a superb indigo colour with very authentic fading that washes beautifully
