removing jean's logo stitching

i just grabbed a pair of nudie thinn finn's n im thinking of taking some of the stitching off one of the back pockets.

i dont have a seam ripper or whatever the proper tool to use is.

so my question to you guys, what have you tried for just household items n whats worked the best?

What I would recommend is waiting till after the 1st wash, then removing the stitching so you get a nice subtle outline.. that's what I plan on doing.

But if you want a bare, clean look, seam rippers are like less than a dollar..

yea i was trying to thing whether or not to do it after the wear n wash. im not sure i only wanted to remove some of the lines. like as the back pockets are now thers 6 lines. i was thinking of removing the inner 4 n leaving the outer 2.

Whoa, I paid $2.99 for a seam ripper! Damn Walgreens.

A friend of mine said she uses razor blades but that sounds dangerous to me... of course having bloodstains on your pockets might be cool...

i didnt buy them solely cause their nudie. and my original intent from even before owning nudies was to do some rippin of the backpocket stitching. i find nudie has like pocketstitch overload.

Definitely use a seam ripper. You can get them at any arts/crafts/fabrics store. You will still get a little bit of a shadow even if you do it now, long before the first wash.

What i meant was why you bought nudie if you wanted a clean look?

What you could do is wear them for some time, use a seamripper and remove SOME of the stiching, It should end up with that nice lvc backpocket look when you wash them.
