i do it all the time. as long as they aren't silky white satin then there should be no problems...

Ouch. I've done it once before just to try it, and while it didn't ruin any sheets, it ruined my night's sleep...They're bloody uncomfortable, especially if you're accustomed to sleeping in lighter clothing or boxers...

Napping's a different matter though...

I always do this whenever I get a new pair of denims. Somebody told me that this will actually stretch the denim faster.

i usually do it for the first few nights. sort of like taking the virginity of your raw denim.

never was any issue, but probably helped that my sheets are blue.

my first pair of raw, i slept in them everynight almost...yeah it really stretched em out, but its not like you get some dramatic effect of fading or anything

it mostly just helps stretch the waist if you need to, have them "mold better" to your body, and loosens them up so they aren't as stiff. i doubt it'll get you the distress marks you truly desire however.

I found sleeping in dry denim really early can be bad, unless the creases in the groin and kneebacks are already well set in.

Sleeping in them good with lockable belt if you are in prison i think...

i would think that sleeping in them too early would give you funny crease lines.

kixself this is what i mean (sorry bad english), sleeping in early can not naturally crease jeans. If you have already earnt them (creases) then sleeping in them will accelerate fading due to abrasion of bed (maybe girl)...
