1947 Levi confusion

Hi all my first post. Have learnt a fair bit about denim looking here. Am thinking about getting these 1947's from ebay but have no idea whether they are the real deal or not. Have emailed the guy about the stamp on the back of the button and he says its blank ?! Any thoughts ?

A blank waistband button? The fly buttons will be blank on the back, but I assume all the waistband buttons will have something stamped on them. (my USA made LVC 47's have 'R' stamped on the back).

I bought my 1947's at the Levi's store here in SF, and all of the buttons are blank.

if i'm not mistaken, the blank and "R" stamped buttons were made by Levi's subcontractors.

if you turn your no-stamp 47s inside out where does it say they are made?

my buttons are blank as well.

Which i found disapointing for some reason.

The inside tag says "made in the USA"
