Let me first say that I've been reading supertalk for a few weeks and have now just got around to registering. It's been a very nice site to read about denim and other various clothing.

some background: I have been into the diesel "zathan" cut jeans and I was looking to get my first pair of dry denim. I live in CA, USA

My question is that if I wanted to get dry denim, which brand/ style would be similar to the cut of the diesel zathans? I was looking at APC but I really do not know much by just looking at the pictures and their descriptions.

My pricerange is $100-200. If you need any other information just ask...THANKS!

HEY...

the zathans are similar in shape to Nudie Regular Ralhp. Also their boxy fit is similar to APC standard (which unlike the zathan is tapered in the bottom). The only one I can find that is fairly similar to the zathan, however, are the Nudie Reghular Ralf.

Thanks, you guys gave me the answers I was looking for. Now I know that APC usually runs bigger than listed but what about NUDIES? Are they true to size?

for the most part, but you can expect a lilttle bit of stretch over the course of 6 months, maybe a size in the waist at worst.

yeah, because of that you could get a size smaller.

Regular Ralf is simialr to the zathan but with a much larger thigh

i say go with the bootcut ola by nudie, its got a nice flare to it and its dry if i remember correctly
