How to appropriate a shirt that's too small/big?

I picked up the MADDECENTxMishka shirt a few weeks back but somehow it got washed, shrunk and fits terribly now. it's too short, yet still baggy, and comes up in the back awkwardly. I love the graphic and stil want to wear it, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or actualy pictures, of how to appropriate the graphic onto another t, or a sweatshirt, of something.

A friend and I were thinking that just cutting the front half of the shirt off and sewing it, surger (i think) to another shirt wouldn't look that bad. I want it to still look good, not trashy. any ideas :confused:
