-"Short" model so inseam is 34" unhemmed

...Id be interested in these, but Im thinking that this is bullshit. From all that Ive ever read Dior makes all of their jeans with a long inseam so that they can either be altered.... or stacked. Can you at least show pics of the inside stitch of the leg opening on these(?) if youre gonna say that they are the "short version". It should be a chainstitch.

Yea that was my major concern when I received these as well, but I posted in the Dior thread and asked grapist about it, and there doesn't seem to be a problem. However, I still compared these with my other Dior jeans and everything matches up. If by any chance these are proved to be not authentic (which I highly doubt), I will give them a full refund.

I really hate to do this because I don't want to fuck up your sales, but when we talked on AIM I told you that I couldn't figure out why your pair was 34", but that the inseam should 37". "pantalon + short" just means that the item that the tag is for is either a pair of pants (or jeans, trousers, etc), with a normal 37"+ inseam, not that it's a short model.

Again, really sorry to do this, but I don't want to be blamed if there IS something wrong with these jeans.

Also, try to get a clearer picture of the hem. That doesn't look like a chainstitch.

Okay thanks for the input on these jeans everyone, I'm going to keep these on hold til I get confirmation of authenticity from somebody. Sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding.

Hem stitching looks pretty thick to me. I would've been interested in these at the beginning of the summer, but now I've got my 21cm's.

Yeah, based on the pic I would also say chainstich, but Ive never heard of a short model (althought that doesnt necessarily mean they dont exist). Also, the hem does look a lot like mine....

You might try asking on the MSNDiorHomme forum, there are some pretty knowledgable ppl there.

Hmm, I dun KnoW?

Okay the tag looks so off. For one the barcode looks too small, minor technicality. But what is most suspect is the model code for the jeans. I thought it starts off with the year? so if it was released this year it'd be 7xx etc or if it was last year it would be 6xx ... However I'm not 100% sure that applies to all their back dated collections, but certainly up to 2005 where they had 5xx on their item codes.

It always starts of with the year, from solitare(FW01) to these gray days(FW06) they have used eg. 4EH (EH, the E stands for ete which is summer in French), 4HH (HH, the H stands for hiver which is winter in French).

From SS07 collection to the current FW07, they started using just the E or the H only, eg. 7E3110550213.
