hey all. looking for some info from anyone who has travelled to australia, especially anyone from asia. need info on things like..

how was it marketed in your country? eg images, campaigns, etc

what did you enjoy when you were here?

did anything suprise you? eg people, places, culture

was it how you expected it to be?

Air Asia seems to have been pushing Australia a bit lately as one of their hot new (?) destinations. Right now they are promoting the Gold Coast. Hope that's what you were looking for.

follow the standard backpacker route from melbourne the east coast up to cooktown. i was running my business from byron bay a little surfer town with beautiful beaches for two years. when it comes to cities i think melbourne is the most funky city.
