Remember when Yamane made jeans like this?

Not sure where i got these from, auction if i remember. Year made anyone? Japanese definately... anyway have been sitting in a drawer for 5 years. If Yamane still made jeans like these we wouldn't b*itch about about Evisu loosing it so much coz these ooze quality from top to bottom. Can anyone tell me more about them?

Unfortunately the 30 has shrunk to a 28 so will give some other denim maniac a chance at these beauties in the future.

I'm not so sure that the quality of standard Evisu (2001) has fallen. I think average cats are turned off by the crazier joints they've been putting out (Massive gulls, leather gulls, cigarette pants, twisted seams, 68 pockets, fucking gulls all over the place). The classics remain classic, but for some, may be tainted by the obnoxious new bling.
