summer wedding...

i'm attending my first wedding next weekend (well, not mine... ) and i was hoping to gain a little perspective on what's proper/not-proper to wear.

notes:

1 - the wedding is not black tie

2 - the wedding is deep in upstate NY (= zero pretension, low on the glitz)

2 - my girlfriend is in the bridal party

3 - i only have 1 suit, grey/charcoal.

questions:

1 - i'm looking for a shirt/tie recommendation. i don't feel like picking up a GQ, does anyone have good ideas for stuff that would complement a grey suit?

2 - are brown shoes ok, or is it best to keep things in a darker palatte?

what time is the wedding? this traditionally dictates proper attire. tho if you have a grey suit you can pretty much wear anything, that is the genius of a grey suit!
