ill be in stockholm in about 2 nights. so far ive heard if you love berlin youll love stockholm so im pretty stoked. i dont know very much about stockholm so ill need some recommendations.

what are some good shopping areas? indie clubs? sights i should see? places i should check out?

There is a dress code on most clubs and some bars won't let you in just b/c you are not swedish.

Going out as a rat pack, unless with locals, is not a good idea either. The people tend to be friendly and all, but NOT the bouncers.

As for places, what kind of music are you into? What do you want to see?

around stureplan in östermalm is pretty good... Sturegallerian is right there, which is like a mall, you can pass thru there and look around.

you can find acne, stray boys and solo (a store good for jeans - nudie, acne, levis, evisu and so on...) is close there at norrmalmstorg. filippa k is right there too. just up the street is NK, which i guess could be considered as swedens bloomingdales. but youll probly think its a pretty small since your coming from the states.

if you are looking for streetwear, caliroots on brunnsgatan (just by Stureplan again) is your best bet. you can check out there inventory on caliroots.com... from stussy to playing for keeps. the store is pretty much located on a small street where no other shops are. so its a subtle location...

If you go to Södermalm (Southside of the city) you can take the subway to Slussen. and walk down Götgatan. Which is a pretty good shopping street. youll find weekend (the cheap monday store) there if you are into that.
