Ok, I remember seeing a burton jacket in complex magazine couple issues ago iirc. it was all black with white dots. the blurb under it mentioned it was designed in part by someone from visvim.

are you sure it was burton? that seems like a far-fetched collabo... burton x visvim? 99% of the time complex is wrong btw.

Hiroshi Fujiwara (part of Visvim, amongst others) does collections for Burton. Rings a bell, I think I read about it in i-D or Dazed a few months ago.

burton is also coming out with shawn whites own collection called "the white collection", duh.

stash, mcginley, among many others have done art work for burton, but i never heard of them collaborating with fujiwara, etc.

I can't remember the details (possibly a Porter collab), but the article did say Fujiwara is a keen snowboarder, so it makes sense.

I know exactly which jacket you are referring to. I don't remember the blurb mentioning Fujiwara, but you could be right. I believe it just stated that ex-bape designers collabed on the jacket. Nice jacket, though. It had the dot pattern, much like what Visvim is usng on some of their accessories and the recent sandals christos. I couldn't begin to track one down for ya though.

Idiom line (boards, boots, bindings, outerwear) is Japan only. Hard to find. This jacket's from a past season.

That is the Burton Idiom jacket and it is sick. Burton makes the Idiom line almost exclusively for Japan, however I have seen some Idiom pieces at Snowboard Connection in Seattle. Google Burton Idiom and you will see their boards and outerwear availble through mail order.
