name these evisus?

i've been doing my fair share of lurking for some time now, but i have finally encountered a question that the search function is not helping much with. found these evisus on iss but there isnt much description. just wanted to know what the name was, maybe how much they go for and whether its from japan/europe, quality etc.

according to the selvage, i believe this is european.

Although that selvage is the one that appears on the EU models. All the japan evisu I've seen are either not selvage or red line or tiger (black yellow) selvage.

I wish you took a clearer picture of the patch. But from what I can make out they are no.2 denim and the 2000 cut. The 2000 is a loose repro of a 1966 501. High rise, tapering legs. Not skinny though, quite loose up top.

If I had to name them though - I'd name them ugly because they are quite hideous.

Oh and check the inside tag on the left pocketbag to check if they are made in Japan or China.

Not that it's relevant to this pair, but I've seen JP Evisu with red and blue selvage (the no.1 denim, but I don't recall the cut. Non-buckleback version, iirc).

Actually now that youve said it, I remember seeing this too. Couldn't find any pictures though.

Hell, next time I'm at the store, I'll stealth snap pictures in the dressing room for posterity. Although the saleman will probably hate me afterwards....but I'm comfortable with that.
