Fuck ... saw these guys last friday and it was fucking amazing! seriously, they kicked ass, and my ears were still ringing the next day. any one else seen them lately?

Also, not that it really matters but J Mascis was wearing the dinosaur jr dunks which i thought was kinda interesting / strange.

havn't seen em, but the new album is good. honestly never really listened to em much before, but good shit so far. last show i've seen was the hold steady, which was fucking incredible.

oh lucky ... i was really excited when the hold steady were announced to be playing splendour and now they pulled out. gutted me.

yeah that's too bad. best show i've seen in a while. this band illinois opened, who i hadn't really heard before then. i've been listening to some of there stuff now that i've seen them and they're pretty good too. definitely worth checking out if you haven't heard them before. also, there singer was awesome. after their set he just continued to get wasted, sing along to hold steady songs, and talk to girls.
