1944 WW2 501xx Levis Information...

I have recently purchased these reproductions from LEVIS VINTAGE JAPAN and was wondering if someone can post all the information possible on these jeans so I can get my denim knowledge up.

These jeans are selvedge. Are they ring spun or double? Are they left or right hand twill? I dont know how to tell the difference. How many ounces is the denim? Why does my pair have no leather size tag? on the back?

All I understand is that the back arcuates are painted on due to saving material during WW2.

All levis selvage jeans are ring ring and right hand. 14.5 oz sounds about right. someone must have removed the waist size tag which should be leather.
