hair in DC

does anybody know of any good hair joints in or around DC? i need to get my haircut first thing tomorrow morning or today for graduation tomorrow evening. i know of the urban style lab off of dupont but they're closed on mondays so i can't make any appointments today, and i'm reluctant to show up there first thing tomorrow morning and have them turn me away because they have no open slots. so i'm looking for a good hair place (no chain stores, please) in the area to get my hair cut and styled.

ps. i'm a male.

pps. i won't cut my own hair.
