New York City tabloid the New York Observer, now helmed by an insanely young owner, is going to try and hip things up a little bit both on paper and on the streets.

From June 8th to June 15th, the paper is opening up a store/performance space/gallery

called The New York Observatory. It will feature custom pieces and limited edition schtuff from Susan Ciancolo, Thakoon, Benjamin Cho, etc. etc. etc. and so forth,

along with live performances which are yet to be announced and art from the Creative

Growth Art Center, which some of you may have read about in a recent issue of ANP Quarterly.
