Northern Liberties in Philly?

I know a few people on here live in Philadelphia, but I was wondering if anyone lives in Northern Liberties and how do they like it? I live over the bridge and spend A LOT of time in the city (my girlfriend lives there) but I wanted to get a first hand opinion on how people like living in North Lib because I'm debating on trying to find an apartment there or in Center City in the next few months.

norther liberties is a nice neighborhood .... rents mad expensive though

i used to go almost every thursday night to 700 club for low budget spinning but he just ended his residency there like a month or so ago. it's a pretty decent place though.
