chatuchak market thread

I don't remember there being any official threads about Chatuchak and I'm not sure if this should go in super shopper or jetset, but I just spent another day wandering around the market and figure it might be good to have a designated place to post questions if you're headed there, and impressions and tips if you've been.

I've actually never been to Chatuchak Market over by Lad Prao, although I've heard so much about it from both locals and visitors regarding furniture, denim, supreme knock offs, etc. One of these days, I need to just suck it up and take the BTS out to Lad Prao. The problem with not having a car is that I usually stay only around areas between Siam and Ekkamai.

Please fill us in on some highlights or cool stuff that you see out there! Cheers!
