Summer Apartments In NYC

Im looking into moving into the city for the summer, I currently live in Connecticut like 45 min away, but I'd rather live in the city for the summer and get a job and maybe do a summer course, how would I go about getting an apartment for that short period.. I've looked on Craigslist but seems alot of weekly and daily rates.

probably too late, but nyu dorms could be a good option. My friend took one course there over the summer few years ago just to stay in nyc...i visited him at his Water st. dorm which was way better than some of the shithole weekly apts available on Craigslist.

I'm doing the same thing, June till September. Only I'm moving from the UK, so it's a liiiiiiiittle harder. I assumed weekly rates were the norm, no?! I've been trawling craiglist, have you found any other resources?

it'll be easier and cleaner to just take a Summer Course @ NYU and Live in one of their Dorms... then to find something on Craigslist... most of the stuff u'll find on Craigslist is a shithole dump or a fake

where you should be looking @ is www.subletinthecity.com... mighty expensive to live in the city... =)

Dammit that's a good idea.

In my case though, study visa's can be a real problem =(
