Help me ID this levi's shirt-jacket.

This has been sitting in my closet for years and i never wear it. picked it up at a thrift store or something like that. i dont know michg about levi's history, so i'm wondering when it might be from (guessing late 70's). The only tag in it is the one pictures, and the orange tab doesnt say Levis

Stop me if you already know this....but Levis have to produce a certain number of garments every so often with no 'Levis' on it in order to actually be able to keep hold of their patent on the red (in this case orange) tab as a patent. (otherwise they would just own the patent on a red tab saying levis, and everyone under the sun would be able to use a red tab with their own writing on it (step up samurai, sugarcanes, sd etc. etc.)....oh wait that already happened....oh wait they already got lawsuits filed. Quite a timely topical jacket/shirt.

i didnt know that, but it makes sense.

anyone else got any ideas about this??

Also, if anyone likes it, its just taking up space in my closet, so i'm looking to sell it.
