im a zappa fan, man was very profficeint and left a great body of work. just some of my favourites are zoot allures, sheik yerbouti, hot rats and freak out!

One musician I really wish I would seen caught live. I did see Jeff Beck with Terry Bozzio 97 I think. What an incredible drummer (Bozzio). Zappa music and influence will live on.....

Zappa is seriously one of the greatest musicians ever. Everyone should check out Hot Rats and We're Only in it for the Money. Hot Rats is a kind of jazz/rock freakout. We're only in it for the Money is hippie bashing weirdness. The man was a pioneer.

how did I miss this thread?! Im a huge zappa fan.

I don't really know where to start, but it's basically the only "rock" I listen to. Pretty sure I have all the albums (and for some reason three physical copies of tinsel town rebellion) and the only one I've never really been into is Civ phaze III. Can't really say I have one favorite album though. I usually listen to specific periods at a time.

Baby snakes is definitely something to check out. If you can get your hands on the dub room special it's pretty worth it too...
