hey im fairly new to the forum, and i got a pair of raw unwashed bbc dog jeans and was wondering if anyone has a pair and washed em, im scared to see what happens and i dont really want them to fade much, but i want them to shirnk, if anyone can help me out that would be tight. or should i just get em fixed and sewn in?

i wouldn't fuck with it, i don't really think BBC has fading in mind when they make their jeans...i'd dry clean it if it were you

Some dude wore some Bape jeans to shit and they turned out pretty decent. So I think it would work like any other denim brand. Just try a warm water soak like everyone else. It should help with the shrinkage a bit.

ive only wore em a few times. would a warm water soak fade it or naw? and how hot should the water be and should i just keep it overnight?

look at the jeans Pharrell's been wearing for the past few months straight...they're raw denims from the BBC/Ice Cream line. Looks like he's washed them and worn them a lot and there's not much fading going on.

It's the aggravation from the movement of a washing machine that causes indigo loss, not really a soak. So if you just stick it in water, it's not really gonna change the color too much. The only experience I had with drastic color change is with Cone denim.

oh fa sho. this morning when i woke up i checked the tub and the jeans left the water yellow haha i think it was cuz of the paint on it or something. after that i just dried em out in the sun, they feel a lot stiffer but im gunna try a hot water soak either tonight or tomorrow
