Tailor in Philly

Anyone know a good tailor in Philly or South Jersey?

Someone that can take in a suit and hem some jeans, but not looking for chain stitching.

where in philly are u at? there's this tailor/suit store up in the northeast 6700 block of castor ave ... theyre pretty good .. shop name is Guido's

oh for jeans .. there's one in locust st ... called academy cleaners ... have my jeans hemmed there and she does a really great job.. its between broad and 15th st.

i'm actually in south jersey, but i asked for philly b/c i figured people would have more info on philly than on the burbs

Academy Cleaners is fine for hemming and minor stuff like that. For any major alterations, I use Premier Alterations--1726 Sansom.

you tried the one near little pete's ... my brother swears by it....

but yeah i agree academy is for minor stuff .... the tailor at the westbury is good too

seconded. my wife got her wedding dress altered here. they do great work. and they turned it around quick.

If you're familiar with Charley's Jeans on 2nd and Market they take all their stuff to Steven's on 2nd and Chesnut. They apparently do pretty good work usually, including original hem reattachment
