First pair of raw denim... exciting

today i spotted a pair of J Lindbergs that were marked down to like 40 bux, and i went over to them and felt the denim... thats pretty stiff, i rubbed the denim with my white shirt, and it bled blue unto it. I tried them on, and... what a sick fit.

Now i'm home, wearing them, and thinking... what the fuck do i do with these? i vaguely recall something about "soaking" or some shit like that, but i have no idea where to go next. theyre also a bit too long, so can someone give me some advice on whether to hem them, or try to shrink the mfirst.
