jean jacket fit

i just got a jean jacket from gap, one wash. two questions!

first, it's a little tight when I stretch my arms out infront, but the shoulders seem perfectly placed, butmaybe i'm wrong. where are the lines on the shoulders supposed to lay on ur actual shoulders? And will they stretch like pant jeans?

First off, there's no way in hell a person can comment on a fit based on a word description. Posting a pic would be helpful. Secondly, how a jacket should fit depends on preference, size, style and cut. Some people like the shoulder seams to hit right on the shoulders. Some people like it below. So maybe providing that info would be helpful also.

Denim is made primarily of cotton and cotton stretches. But a one wash by the Gap probably took care of all the shrinking, so you aint gonna get much out of them. Most likely nil. If you want a denim jacket to work on something, try raw next time.
