[Question] Nudie Original redline straight sven???

Yo guys,

I ve just got a pair of nudie original redline (straight sven), which i wasnt aware of before.

I ve looked up in the internet for this type and i couldnt find info bout this one!

When I checked the inside, there was a redline just like the selvage ones. And made me thought this was the original selvage. But it isnt! because the motif and colour were totally different with the nudie original selvage (regular ralf).

On its name tag inside, it's only written "straight sven original redline" and small words "Ralf new". The design of the name tag is also different with other nudies selvages i already has.

Could somebody help me with this one?? I will try to upload the picture after the responses!

I still couldn't find in the internet for this type of nudie. Never heard of Straight Sven - Original Readline also.

I hope any of u guys could come up with the answers.

Nudie can be dumb about there lines, cuts, tags being all changed and hard to keep track of I don't really think they have a system and this is not the first time I have heard of discrepancies between their tags and their products from year to year.

Anyway my guess is that they are Regular selvedge.

Also you did not ask a question in your thread. Is your question if these jeans are selvedge denim or not? If so the answer is that they are.

Where did you get them? Are you concerned that they could be fake?

Are you concerned that they have wiskering on the bum? Bum wiskers should be a concern of everyone! :D

on my STFs i have one or two whiskers the extend from the lap to the edge of my backpockets.

are they really that uncommon?

my APCs are the same way, but they don't look fake, as i'm sure your stf's don't. it's a rare thing, but sometimes washes have the ability to look decent. this is not one of those times

I was not saying they are fake I was more feeling out what his question.

Is it:

a) What should he call his jeans?

Are his jeans selvedge?

c) Are they fake?

d) Do Sf'er like them?

e) All of the above.

I was more joking than anything. The only reason I mention the bum wiskers is because I think they are a bit much. I have seen wiskering hit close to the pocket but never on to them or even within an inch of them. But nvm that it is off topic.

from the back they look like baggy bjorns with the low back pockets. maybe they're the even steven prototype . . .

yeah, i'm thinking those are the samples of the Even Steven bc they look exactly like the ones on the nudie website. go look on the fitguide -- www.nudiejeans.com

I wasn't discussing about the bum wiskering (eventhou myself also think the same way), but I would like to know whether u guys have any info bout the type. As sbbbjm mentioned, I think he's right. Inside the tag, its also written "ralf new". So I think it is even steven prototype.

From the pic I could see that the jeans shades and so did not appear good. Different with the real here. I could say also that the shades and indigo (if u see it directly) - bright green is bit the same with my veggie vintage selvage collection.
