whose altered/tapered Imperials (Dukes)?

please post some pics of them, i am thinking to taper my dukes but not entire sure yet

apu - I tapered mine in about 1cm from the outseam...they look real good now. Fall like a straight leg rather than a bootcut. I'll post pictures soonish.

yea, i'd like my dukes to have a narrower leg opening too, so thinking to taper it from the knee downwards

Tapered from the outseam (selvedge) from the knee down. Hem opening is now 19cm (before, it was 20cm).

Sorry about the dodgy pics, but hopefully it gives you an idea of how they turned out:

I would say go for it! Do it from the outseam like I have. They still fall perfectly, and that way you don't have to fuck with the really nice stitching on the inseam.

BTW, wat sz is ur dukes?

mines 30' with leg opening of around 20 as well, and i am thinking to trim it down to abt 18.5 or 19

and since my dukes were hemmed a tad too short for my liking, i cant get the cuff up but it still look alrite since i wear them rather low

No probs man - yeah mine are a 30 waist. Tapering down to 18.5 should be fine I reckon, but probably don't go below that, coz the selvedge will start to look wack! Good luck with it 8-)
