lvc 1967 505 v. 1947 501

Can anybody compare these cuts? I've heard the 505 is slimmer in the leg, but my main concern is how much the hips flare out. Do the hips flare out the same on these two, or is the 505 more of a straight cut?

505 is slim straihgt cut, kinda of like the nudie ss in a way. no hip flares.

The '67 505 is slimmer and tapers a little towards the hem and it also sits lower on the hips. 47 is straight legged.

Well, I don't think they sit lower on the hips compared to the 1947. They are certainly slimmer than the 1947 and as said with a slight taper.

Also, I don't think they resemble the Nudie Straight Sven cut at all!

There are different cut LVC 505's out there. I swear few years ago, when LVC released some 505 model it had quite a high rise, about same as 1947 501. LVC S/S 2006 505 model had really low rise, it sits a lot lower than 1947 501.

I wish LVC would release raw 505 model again someday. I mean, slim fit raw selvage denim, why didn't they do it already for this season?
