Up for sale is a rare Helmut Lang gas mask bag from the A/W 2003-2004 collection. 12" width x 10" height x 3" depth (great for going out/small notebook). HL bags and accessories from this period were made by Prada, whose quality is stellar when it comes to leather goods. The bag's style is very 2003-2004 Helmut Lang, with asymmetric details, abstract-military inspired forms and a deep black colourway.

The materials used for this bag are all excellent. The leather is a high quality calf nappa with a very nice grain. It has been treated somehow, making it hard-wearing and waterproof. The interior is fully lined in black cotton flat weave. All hardware is realized in black/gunmetal, complementing the severity of the design.

The front has a flap and three exposed zippers, all of which feature HL-branded leather pulls. The back has a single zipped unit, a D-ring and a military inspired round opening. The interior has two more pockets (one zipped). The sides of the bag bag are 'framed' by a heavy cotton grosgrain tape secured by metal studs, which gives it structure and allows for things to be attached to its exterior. The strap is made from the same material and is adjustable. Heavy X-topstitching is found throughout.
