resin treated denim

What are the tell tale signs of resin treatment and does anyone know if dry cleaning chemicals have an adverse effect on the resin baked denim?

actually i thionk dry clean product wont do much, as for signs, resin finish have a shine to it, anda shin and the surface is smooth feeling to it. i personally dont like resin that much

Resin coated jeans seem to be shinier than most jeans...even moreso than jeans treated with starch...its as if they were submerged in starch and then baked to set the starch in...my resined levis are really smooth to the touch...and they didnt really feel like natural at first...not like denim....but theyve softened up a bit in the last 5 months or so...still no obvious signs of fading tho
