Anyone seen Alexander McQueen skull scarf?

Has anyone seen these for AW06? Not the sheer silk ones for the girlies but the silk ones with small skulls on? I think they have several styles - a scarf and a cravat. And several colours such as burgundy and black.

What do people think? Versatile and a great piece or just not a good look?

Those are going to be hard to find. The only option you might have is calling the Alexander Mcqueen boutique seeing if they have the wool skull scarf.

Yes, I sold three of them on Ebay ;-) I thought they were lovely, but they are pretty much sold out now, so if you find one, get it.

I have found one! In lambswool. Burgundy with taupe skulls on it - like the one in the pic above. They had a black one with white skulls on it but didn't like the black. Also had some lovely silk shorter scarves in burgundy and black with tiny skulls and dots on it but I wasn't so sure as it was more like an evening scarf with tassles on the end. Couldn't decide whther to go for that or the woolen (more traditional) scarf but in the end plumped for the woolen. Hope I made the right choice!

Also, saw the ones on ebay priced at a ludicrous £200GBP. I just bought mine for £60GBP. Even the silk ones were just £70GBP. The only £200GBP scarf I saw was a very long silk one.

There's a really rather lovely girl working in the Bond Street boutique in London too I have to say!

SneakerStar 2 – I am really sorry, I only just saw your post this morning and have called the store and they have now sold out of the black and white. They still have the burgundy so let me know. Am really sorry. It’s not having a computer at home y’see…

Also, I am rather ashamed to admit that I have now exchanged my lambswool one for a different McQueen skull scarf! Still burgundy but this one is the silk one and whilst longer than a cravat it is a similar style and shape with no tassles at the end (the tassled ones were just too much for me and reminded me of the kind of scarf an old codger wears with a tux) It’s a much better and cheekier piece than the typical woollen scarf.

Heavy burgundy silk with smaller skulls that are better defined are the order of the day. Very versatile and a nice detail whether with jeans and a jacket or as part of a more formal outfit.

I urge you guys to check out the cravat style scarves – they really are a very good piece!

Hahaha. That must've been some girl...and I hope someone knows her. I'm all for re-establishing that stalker connection...slightly scary but always entertaining...just kidding man. Seriously. All you have to do is just look up the ph. no. for Alexander McQueen NY and call...if that is what you wanted to do. As for what you would say, I can't really help you there.
