Fitting the A.P.C. Anglais

I'm new here. At any rate, from everything I've read from you folks re these jeans (all of which is positive) I still can't comfortably gauge how baggy these really are. Although one's fitting preference is subjective, let's say I just want a very clean and classic look that's not too tight and not to loose - would my regular size work fine or should I size down (ringring suggests this)? Also, let's say I wash them a couple times - would that make them not quite so baggy? I know I should just try them on but I live in DC and don't know when I'll be in NY. Thanks.

these jeans will fit larger than yoru reg size since they are unwashed, but will shrink after a reg wash as ring ring pointed out. i am a 30 but these definitely fit like a 32 and i do not intend to wash them anytime soon. hope that helps.
