Anything produced by Evisu Europe is terrible -- period. The brand went wrong once they left the "denim lover" market and went for the "my jeans are more expensive than ever and we cannot explain why they are ugly" market.

I think they diversified from their hardcore 'denim-lover' market for a couple of reasons.

1. To make more money. More styles = wider offer = bigger potential market. Obviously more styles means that there will be much more product that is not to the taste of the original Evisu consumer.

2. Because their original USP of being the makers of reproduction selvage Levis was no longer unique. Loads of companies make them now, not least of all Levis themselves.

Whether they 'went wrong' or not depends on if you are one of their original fanbase, or their bank manager lol.

Personally I don't think that 'Anything produced by Evisu Europe is terrible'.

Hey Petey, did you buy those Howies OSD's? If so, what are they like? Is the triple stitched inside-leg seam a fell seam?
