Diffrence between levis 517 "rigid" & "dark indigo"?

I have a pair of 517s that i'm currently beating up on but the dark blue color doesn't really match the rest of my shirts and what not. Are the rigids closer to the 501stf type color/feel or is it the same as the dark blue soft shit i currently own?

The rigid denim 517 looks almost identical to the rigid 501. It also looks the same after 1 wash as the 501 looks after 1 wash. The biggest difference, as you probably know, is that the 517 denim is Sanforized and shrinks very little.

The dark blues probably are overdyed. The rigids are not, and should be much closer to the STF color.
