Knock off victims and villians

A thought. many people on the site have been ripped off by sellers of knock offs. prps, CDG, LEVi, etc. And everyone is pissed about it. Then, how in good concious can people on the site support the hawking of obvious knock offs. My question: Should people be allowed to infringe on creative copywrite's and sell on Superfuture? I personally think not. I think it sucks and undermines small business' and artists.We all want quality and orginality, so I think sellers should not be encouraged to offer up knock offs and sell them by refrencing brand names. Thoughts?

Nah, If you are selling one piece and you are honest about it being a knock-off and offering it as say "a novelty" or even a pair of knock off levis that happen to look pretty good, I don't think it is a big deal. Now, when you say you have 50 pairs you will let go cheap...that's another thing alltogether.

im not sure we want originality here, since so much of the denim forum is based on levis knock offs, which are illegal to import to the us because of levis copyrights on the red tab and arcuates. now if they pass it off as real then there should be some action taken, but its not that bad. myself, i want some of those fake thai levis, those are fucking cool.

Yeah, I get what you are both saying. I am refering to the red moon wallet stuff. Just seems cheesey to have a guy hawking rip offs of a small creative artist's enterprise. And seeling more than one. Fine if you found a great fake Levi in Thai and offer it up as such, but to say -I am now selling fake Nom de Gueere hoodies, do you want in...kind of sucks. I think it just makes us all look bad. No one that I know is offering fake NDG yet, but what will Minya do if someone does?
