  1. Whenever possible I try to hang my jeans on the rack and try to do these things. That's the river Rhine
  2. RMC - Denime Tokyo - CT70S
  3. Interesting! The official webshop of Evisu Japan was pretty low in stock for their standard jeans for quite some times. They also had these 30% off sales for quite a while. Seems they really struggled? And yeah, Yamane's designs are too loud for me
  4. @MJF9 yeah, is your pair two-tone as well? I finally read the article from Begin which states the first XX denim to be a fast fader. So Warehouse probably reproduced that correctly. Maybe the two-tone loom was also a thing with the first XX models. Who knows.
  5. They do have a website http://rockets-usa.com/vintage/online/bottoms.html But yeah you have to order via IG
  6. We have a whole thread dedicated to Resolute jeans, you don't have to open a new thread for each post. Would be nice to see you over there! https://supertalk.superfuture.com/topic/100593-resolute-by-hayashi-san/?page=75&tab=comments#comment-3366387
  7. The denim stiffed up quite a bit after the soak/wash and really came to life. Really nice! Here are the measurements. One-wash Waist: 32.25" Front rise: 11" Back rise: 15.25" Thighs: 12.375" Knee: 9.4" Leg opening: 8.25" Inseam: 31" And yeah, I can't even close them and I don't want to risk it. So please DM me!
  8. It's at least unsanforized, probably loomstate as well. I soaked and machine washed them yesterday. We will see this evening if they are wearable. If not, anyone intersted can PM me
  9. Definitely! I'd take that top block fit post soak any minute So yes...cold soak/wash and that's probably it. These could be worn raw without much discomfort but that goes against all my beliefs
  10. I was waiting for this post! Fit looks good. I also think you could have done a W34 but that's no critique
  11. Usually I don't do this but I wanted some proper pre-soak pictures so I am wearing them raw right now. Honestly, that would be a good looking post-soak fit so I have to see how I deal with the shrinkage. The 12.5 oz denim is very comfortable.
  12. Mepse claims these are based on a vintage pair he owns (?) and becauseI don't own one I can only judge based on other brands I handled. The jeans are smaller than advertized so this was a small surprise and I saw others claiming a lot of shrinkage on this denim, it will be interesting to see how they will fit after a soak. Right now I have a bit space in the waist but the 0.5" more would have been nice Thighs are also off by 0.5" and so is the inseam. All in all inside the accepted variation I think. 36x34 raw Waist: 35" Front rise: 11.75" Back rise: 16.25" Thighs: 13" Knee: 9.8" Leg opening: 8.5" Inseam: 33.375" The construction of the jeans is sound and does look clean. The tab is sewn crooked on purpose. On the left back pocket you see that the stitching at the bottom is not completely straight at the left edge but it looks nice this way. The placket is very long in comparison to the front rise in general which could look goofy. We will see. The back pockets look quite small, I have to test how well they will contain a wallet or so. Rivets and buttons are generic (blank or "World Jeans International") but I think this should be accepted with a small brand that is just about to really start. The red tab is branded but doesn't look like rayon or so...it looks/feels a bit cheap. Back of the top button is stamped with a "6". The chainstitch at the hem looks nice and I think will lead to good roping. The double chainstitch on the waist however looks somehow off. Quite thin threads are used and the SPI looks quite low. This is somehow my biggest disappointment but maybe it won't have any major effect. All other stitching looks good from what I could see. The belt loops are on the thin side, feature a two-tone stitching and are not raised. Belt loops from other brands feel/look better to me. The pocket bag material is a bit flimsy and the pocket bags aren't the biggest. But they are accessible. The denim is really interesting. It should be a 12.5oz denim and it does feel thinner which I really like. The denim is darker and more irregular than what other brands usually use for their 60s models. The denim is from Okayama, Mepse didn't disclose the mill (or he doesn't know or he didn't understand). I really look forward to see it evolving. Which important parts did I miss?
  13. Those are the latest 1880 LVC did? Just before White Oak shut down? They look lovely!
  14. Fast fading vs. slow fading I think the consensus here was/is that most (me included) prefer the slow fading denim and somehow look down on fast fading denim. Somehow as a sign of cheaper denim and you have to earn the fades, yada yada. Also the slower fading denim might show more stages of fading and have another depth of fades, gives more hues and all. Now, with the Denime Lot.220 by Warehouse I experience quite a quick fading denim and it's a nice change to get a worn in pair of jeans that still is structurally sound but yet faded whereas with slow fading denim you sometimes have broken stitches, worn through crotches before the denim really shows much wear. Of course, the down side of the fast fading denim would/could be that you also end up with a washed out denim down the line?
  15. So you mean some kind of transistion period? Sure, could be. I think hoggreaser saw something similar with the 10th anniversary pairs where both the labels from Orizzonti and D-HG-1118 were used on different pairs.
  16. Coming back to this, I think we have to correct our theory. Tokyo model made by Orizzonti https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/special/order/confirm/https%3A%2F%2Fjp.mercari.com%2Fitem%2Fm14661085817/13_1/
  17. Looking forward to the fit pics!
  18. @Flash did you already wash them? The fit looks very promising and really not that bigger than I thought.
  19. Too bad, it sold for 70k with 1 bid. But maybe it was you? @Thanks_M8 yeah the new denim definitely fades faster than the original one.
  20. ^ they are an early 50s pair but Denime not the strictest repro brand. No experience with the 1001, sorry. Lot.220A (brown belt, 4-5 months wear) compared to old Denime 66XX (at least double the wear time).
  21. ^ Still noticeable in real life though
  22. 34x32 sold, 34x33 still available. Just hit me up.
