  1. @indigoeagle kinda made my buying this pair. And I'm not even mad about it. 601XX 1951 in W34. Same size as the 1947 I tried but wasn't so happy with the fit. These 1951 have a lower back rise and overall slimmer top block which I prefer (especially the lower rise). With the upcoming Word of Mouth contest these will see less wear but they are also a reason I listed some of my too slim fitting Denime jeans (221, 224 and 66) for sale.
  2. They look definitely better than their first WW2 jeans. The measurements are also just like I would prefer them (looking at a W36 as well). But for now I decided against them
  3. @nopalyour jeans are just being made, please confirm your Inseam again
  4. Looking good Austin! I was a bit surprised that SE doesn't offer a longer inseam when they now had the chance to customize. Ok, for a wide cut like these it might not be necessary but for the 66 and XX a longer inseam is the main problem for many people interested in Boncoura.
  5. Will consider each serious and honest offer. I rather want these jeans go to a good "Sufu home" than getting big dollars
  6. @UkeNo and @nopal Your jeans! VID_106900502_104336_375.mp4
  7. Another wash before going into temporary storage. 1946 model
  8. More info here: https://staybrave.tokyo/ I think you can only buy in person. Already saw a copy on Mercari for 32k ¥
  9. I also replied via PM. 2 Options: W34 = stretch to fit W36 = shrink to fit Both can work, depends on the personal acceptance of discomfort or fear of a "loose fit"
  10. I'm happy they arrived at a good home!
  11. I would have thought same @Double 0 Soul, especially the way the whsiskers look make the left pair look tighter fitting and the right pair looser.
  12. Denime 224 still available. I'll add a pair of Denime 66 from the 30th Anniversary Original Line. Size 34, one-wash. BNWT Measurements Waist: 86 cm FR 29.5 cm Thighs: 32 cm Leg opening: 20.5 cm Inseam: 81 cm Price 200€ shipped
  13. @JohnnyD great pair as well, just like in the other threads 😉
  14. Definitely a short/cropped fit but this is what many people want these days from a vintage-y piece. But I am with you, it needs some time to get used to such a fit. Myself included
  15. In all fairness, for hemming you simply cut the inseam to the desired/needed length and sew it. Nobody is going to unpick the old hem first (unless of course you only need 0.5 cm shorter. Then one might unravel the old stitching, unfold the hem and cut a little bit).
  16. Simone recently stated it roughly takes 2.5 hours to sew a pair (cutting not included). Right now we don't know if mid December will really work but fingers are crossed.
  17. Nice lightning fade! And those thighs are taking a beating it seems.
  18. I know And if not..would you take his W34 for an oversized look?
  19. They look glorious! And also thank you for sharing the memories. I heard from another user who recently acquired an old stock SC47 with arcs (you know who you are!)
