  1. What am I missing? The oficial Pras (if it is the official site) is a lot cheaper than the shops on Rakuten for their products. And of course much cheaper than shops outside Japan. Yet they do ship outside Japan. https://pras2015.jp/collections/all
  2. Don't mind the cuffs, they need a hem (didn't notice Spiral offers hemming with a 43200G...)
  3. And it's official, the end of the XX denim from Kurabo https://www.instagram.com/p/DMtymbgTtV5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  4. Arrived 2 weeks ago with my Whitesville tshirts. Can't wait for colder weather 😅 Blue-gray
  5. @Lorcan that's a very fair price considering the blanket lining and all And the official homepage: http://www.ezcompany.jp/jettrink.html
  6. @Double 0 Soul thanks Neal! So many of those old half-forgotten brands. All these information will be gone once he decides to delete his website...
  7. Beware guys, AI fades are incoming: I asked ChatGPT to create a picture of a pair of 2 years worn raw denim jeans.
  8. This denim is funny. It has a nice crunchy feel, yet the creases don't really set. Similar to FW I would say.
  9. Sugarcane 1945 - Merz - Two Moon 530 - RW 875
  10. Just came across while doing some Gardener research. And yes, I need to check it out more as well 😁 @Double 0 Soul you are right, some familiar names. Would be really intersting if it is the same @Ryu Jeans Pavillion and Takahasi's Denim Gallery are both dead, right? THis was Ryu's old homepage, dead as well: http://letgoasyoulike.fc2web.com/
  11. Lots of older and some unknown old brands here. Something for you @Double 0 Soul? http://ryunogarage.g2.xrea.com/collection/jeans/jeans-col-b/jeans-col-b.html
  12. @Dr_Heech not from me 😅

  14. 🌿 Gardener Overalls — Brand History & Profile Founded in the mid-1990s by Ichiro Ueki, Gardener Overalls is a Japanese denim label deeply rooted in the American workwear tradition, yet distinguished by a unique design ethos and Japanese craftsmanship. 👤 Founder: Ichiro Ueki Ichiro Ueki was originally involved with EVISU and founded an earlier brand called Allen & Hanson in the 1980s. With a deep respect for American vintage workwear, Ueki transitioned toward developing his own denim label. Around 1995–1997, he launched Gardener Overalls. The name “Gardener” was suggested by Hidehiko Yamane, founder of EVISU, because "Ueki" (植木) in Japanese means "to plant" or "gardener" — making the brand name a clever reflection of Ueki’s identity and philosophy. 🔄 Brand Revival with Spiral Jeans After becoming a near-mythical brand among vintage denim collectors, Gardener Overalls was officially revived by Japanese retailer Spiral Jeans in the late 2010s. This relaunch was done in direct collaboration with Ichiro Ueki himself, and includes: Faithful reproductions of older models like the 1954XX New releases such as 1937XX and Hawaiian shirt collections Exclusive limited editions, all sold only through Spiral Jeans (online and in-store) Gardener is now listed as a "Spiral Original Brand", yet remains firmly guided by Ueki's philosophy and technical oversight.
  15. ^wasn't all this not something Michael Allen Harris always said and disputed about with Levi's?
  16. They are made by https://www.shinotex.jp/en/ The original maker from 30 years ago. With the help of Ueki-san who was responsible for Gardener back in the day. The denim is from Collect Mills
  17. I posted it in the denim books thread
  18. Yes he is doing a lot of OEM work these days. Last release of his jeans were April 2024. I don't know but hope he will do some work for his brand again
  19. My initial post in the "Unknown Thread"
  20. https://rebuilt.jp/ https://www.instagram.com/rebuilt.jp/ I think enough people here have a pair of Ono-san's jeans that it warrants its own thread.
  21. Thanks. It's size L just like my Merz (which fits smaller).
  22. My first Whitesville tshirts and probably not my last. A 2 pack nearly costs the half of one Merz b Schwanen I usually wear.
  23. I always wonder what's on their mind? "Hey I found this dead place, a post once in a blue moon. This has to be THE place to ask this question which has like nothing to do with the other posts here"
