  1. Happened twice now on my pair, so yes. It can be done. Don't want to do it on my contest pair though.
  2. A little update. 2 spots open. Please comtact MJF9 or me if you are missing your name on the list! 3. A little update before I go quiet: This contest will be judged by a crème de la crème of Sufu guys. We will announce them soon. We still have open spots to join but a special person will join as well (the person above is the special person). More important dates will be communicated later.
  4. Thanks guys! Mother and child are both well and will leave the hospital tomorrow (or rather I will pick them up). Baby/dad fades will certainly happen 😉 I will go with the 1942 version he offers. One size up from my 411. If anyone has questions, please ask them here in this thread. Simone is watching it 😉 and @MJF9 will pick it up with him.
  5. And stretched again out to 36"... I think not 3 weeks yet?!
  6. 15 deposits have been paid so far! Thanks guys! @julian-wolf do you need another way of paying like bank transfer?! A nice hairiness On another note, our little daughter was born on September 3rd, so expect me to be less active in the next time...
  7. This is how Simone measures the rise. 32.5 cm on a W34 here. Similar to BiG. He will add a guide on his website soon but it can take some time.
  8. Exposed! Edit: but the WoM are shorter than I wanted them to be. I will order a longer inseam for the contest so I will end with a 80 cm Inseam. Give or take 1 cm.
  9. He measures the waist Blue in Green style. Waisband aligned and straight across. How I also measure my jeans. I will ask him about the discrepancy (I think some is to be expected). Maybe the measurements are from the pattern and during sewing it can change? I will confirm. And like already quoted, you can specifiy the inseam you need at no extra costs.
  10. Me as well...but then I luckily saw the inseam @UkeNothe S411 is as the 611 (they are basically the same only different names) rather a late 30s cut.
  11. And for transparency reasons in case you wondered if I would pay for the jeans as well So let's get it on!

  13. !!!UPDATE!!! We (or rather Simone) got an aswer from Collect about denim availability. There are 2 rolls available right now of the RS1950-ROW of which Simone needs at least one for us. The R501-UF is not available and the production schedule has been postponed until March '25. So we are glad the majority of people voted for the RS1950 (and honestly, we are happy that there is still stock...). This brings us to the following situation: We can most likely start this whole thing earlier than "planned" (meaning before Christmas) We would need the deposits earlier as well and I talked with Simone and we agreed on September 13th (the deposit would be 140 € payed either via PayPal [F&F preferred but not mandatory of course] or bank transfer) This is necessary so Simone can order the denim and is not left with fabric that he doesn't need. More info about how to pay will follow. [email protected] for PayPal As for the 25 spots not taken until September 13th, we agreed that the last spots can also be filled later. As for cut and sizing: this is not yet important for the deposit, this decision can made later (I will clarifiy this with Simone again until he needs a final cut and size decision).
  14. Probably I think I counted 4 people on this thread that haven't DM'd me so far but they all wrote they will decide based on cut/price/details. So maybe they are not interested anymore.
  15. Not yet. Simone has a small batch he needs to produce with priority but after that we mainly have to rely on the denim supply. Once we have a clearer view on delivery dates for the denim we can manage the deadline for ordering/deposit and then we wil lalso decide until when we need the decision on cut and size.
  16. @efujobu1 No real cut off date as of yet but when the 25 spots are taken, they are taken. With that said, 18 persons DM'd me so far which means there are still 7 spots open. Not everybody who shown interest in the thread has DM'd me but also people who didn't voice the interest openly did write me. Edit: 20 people now!
  17. My first measurements might have been shit or the denim stabilised after stretching. Both washes at 30°C in the machine with a "jeans wash programme". Line dried. The denim has a more prominent red cast now, small veins and the puckering is...superb 2nd Wash Waist: 33.5" Front rise: 11.5" Back rise: 15.5" Thighs: 13" Knee: 9.5" Leg opening: 8.75" Inseam: 30.75"
  18. Update tomorrow! And prepare for some killer roping in the contest!
  19. It seems it will be the RS1950 denim. I will wash my pair in the next days again to show more of it's shrink potential. And, could everyone who is really interested DM me? Then I will start a list. If you are already sure which cut, I can add this as well.
  20. Closed the poll now I think I now the reason: the old votes were still in the background and people are only allowed to vote once. So everybody who voted on the duration was not allowed to vote on the denim anymore.
  21. They are definitely my most comfortable one to wear in the current weather (30 °C). The stretchy-ness and lighter feel is similar to FC's 13.7oz denim and also the denim Ooe uses. The texture of FC is a bit rougher though. The 1950-ROW is smoother. I would need to make a closer comparison to the Ooe denim I have.
