  1. That's more of a philosophical question, right? Anyway, I still own my very first pair from 2008. So why sell them before 2028 and lose against @Double 0 Soul?!
  2. I still have one CSF 😉 But for real, selling all Denime will never happen
  3. How much are we talking?
  4. ^ great! Another sneaker i don't need!
  5. I feel the same about them. Doing 1:1 repros is nothing new and TCB for example made their WW2 models apparently very close to the originals they had their hands on. Still I vastly prefer these SCSC models. Something just feels more right.
  6. Recently I checked out the Denime 220XX-47 in person to get a feel for this new direction Denime/warehouse is going. They are fine jeans, I'll give them that and I don't want to discredit them. But they are not really Denime anymore. All the designs, the denim and everything just feels like Warehouse. It's just the patch, tab and hardware saying Denime and that's it. I like Warehouse as a brand, don't get me wrong. They just don't create the "I wanna buy them"-feel. This strengthens my initial opinion to let go of the new Denime. I will probably continue to look for some vintega/deadstock old Denime but that's it then.
  7. @indigoeagle I wouldn't take FW's sewing as an indicator of the original models as FW always has rather neat stitching. The late 45 model of FW is probably based on the #24 model from the 501XX book. I had Konaka-san made me a version of this model. They are now with @Dr_Heech. The 501XX book features 10 WW2 models of which we have mostly seen all. And not all of those models are special in terms of details. But there is one model which I haven't seen repro-ed widely: a model with paper patch and printed upside-down arcs. Only CSF made paper patch WW2 models. At least from the top of my head.

  9. Or give it all back to the different native Americans while we are at it?!
  10. Yes it doesn't look like the Pioneer denim and looks nicer/more natural when faded.
  11. Well, nobody really knows but I don't think we can generalise the 42 or 45 just based on 1-2 jeans of 10,000s that survived the time. There were probably just as many of totally different or normal 501s that just didn't make it to us.
  12. Those 46 deserve their own post!
  13. Depends on what they will offer. I haven't bought every piece answer will only buy if I like it.
  14. And Denime already did it between 1998 and 2004 I think adding to @Double 0 Soul: the specific developed denim is also a nice feature. The smaller brands like CSF, BOT and the like rarely have the chance to get custom denim. They have to buy what's available/offered. Or other brands just use a denim They already use anyway and make a WW2 out of it. How wildly different a WW2 denim of each year to another year is another question but this approach certainly adds to the overall costs for the Collectibles series.
  15. Smaller batches, everything made from scratch and exclusively for the particular model (denim, rivets, buttons, pocket bags). Detailed sewing to replicate the original one (although they overdo it on some parts). Worth it? Your decision
  16. The 1945 is quite neppy. Also on the inside
  17. Broark was obvious. Srudy, I didn't have on my radar
