  1. The Red Wings are out of place for Ivy (IMO of course)
  2. BEARS is one of the few (if not only?!) shop that sells at Japanese domestic prices AND offers free shipping. Therefore usually the cheapest. Of course this doesn't help if they are sold out, of course. Or when they inflate the price because they were asked to. But it went back down, that's right.
  3. Sorry, no idea how big the changes are. Different denim is known. In terms of cut, we have to wait.
  4. With remains? Hadn't seen those before. Only the models without patch
  5. No idea but very well possible. But probably a blend of different cottons anyway. In general, Sugar Cane does very good repros. Many consider the 1947 to be one of the best '47 repros. So why shouldn't they also make the 66 as good? Only in comparison with all the other brands, the SC stick out with the high rise. But thanks to your link, it seems there as similar high rise vintage 66 models.
  6. The WH 1100 is the 66 model. The BigE model (while still produced in the 60s) is not considered a 66 model by the definition of the Japanese repro crowd.
  7. The best person to answer this is probaly @JohnM as he wrore the original in his youth. And he has quite a lot of expereicne with different jeans. In terms of fabric I think Resolute do it very well (not so much in cut though). I think the SC 1966 are too high rise and the TSB 60s too low rise. So right now I wouldn't be able to tell you who does the best interpretation. Maybe Warehouse?
  8. Tough to follow... Denime - Sugarcane - Chucks
  9. Neat Style's in house brand (done by Bridge of the Times, I think) goes to the next level and now offers completely broken leather patches
  10. SC 1966 Size 33 Raw Waist: 35.5" Front rise: 13" Back rise: 17" Thighs: 13.5" Knee: 9.8" Leg opening: 8.5" Inseam: 36.5" Machine wash Waist: 33" Front rise: 12.25" Back rise: 16" Thighs: 12.8" Knee: 9.4" Leg opening: 8.125" Inseam: 32" (hemmed at DC4)
  11. FromJapan seems to be the last one offering it (that I know of). You can put yourself the value you want on the invoice.
  12. Jacket then, right? My jeans should arrive next week
  13. This is one of the Yahoo scores I totally forgot to have bid on. And one Saturday I got the mail "you've won!". Orizzonti era sweater. On the short side but for 2,610 ¥ I won't complain 😉
  14. Well, probably true for Iron Heart 😅
  15. I don't own WH (at least no official WH). Those are the Denime 220A
  16. Switching from a new pair back to a faded pair always feels off at first
  17. Shop descriptions... 😏 "This is a thorough reproduction of the XX model manufactured by DENIME at the time of its founding. The fabric was developed jointly with Kurabo Industries based on recipes from the time. The uneven thread is ring-spun from the same rice cotton used at the time, rope-dyed with a special indigo color, and finished with vegetable dyeing to create a deep texture. A certain DENIME-like color has been reproduced." I was close to ask you guys what "rice cotton" actually is. You can find it nearly on all shops that carry Denime because they all made a simple auto translation (also for some other brands). Actually, it simply means "US cotton" and if you don't translate the whole text but the words themselves, it becomes clear.
  18. Warehouse/Denime released the new models on their IG (https://www.instagram.com/denime1988/) WW2 (as expected) 1947 (as expected) 1954 (only knew of 50s) and jackets for all these periods. Then two 66 models, in black and ecru. The jeans and jackets look more like Warehouse than former Denime (so Warehouse jeans with a Denime patch and hardware). I'll pass. Maybe, just maybe an expection for the WW2 jacket
  19. I knew you would answer Maybe he just doesn't want to sell his jeans to you. Could this "Failed to send" imply you are blocked?!
  20. @tchengaa as written on the homepage, you have to contact him via Instagram for orders from overseas.
  21. Konaka-san exaggerates more and more...I think that's one of reason Neat Style dropped CSF (some models were so crazy, you couldn't even use the coin pocket anymore)
