  1. Smaller batches, everything made from scratch and exclusively for the particular model (denim, rivets, buttons, pocket bags). Detailed sewing to replicate the original one (although they overdo it on some parts). Worth it? Your decision
  2. The 1945 is quite neppy. Also on the inside
  3. Broark was obvious. Srudy, I didn't have on my radar

    Belts

I feel this is directed at me 😮
  5. Paired my SC1945 jacket with my Resolute 710...they feel like skinny jeans 😅
  6. Shiro Denim has the new ones but also "vintage" Ground Alls https://www.instagram.com/shiro_denim/
  7. @Broark Agreed on the arcs. Shape and colour is a bit bold. But yes, will wear off eventually.
  8. The indigo-dyed No. 7 slub tshirt by UES. It's really thick..usually I don't like too thick tshirts so I will see how long I can wear it in the summer
  9. Thanks! Waistband looks good, the rest is really massive. Bought from BEARS I assume? The packaing is definitely over the top but I love stuff like this. I like to collect it and watch is accumulate dust. These early brands or rather in-shop brands have a certain charm. Like Gardener.
  10. @fabes Shoulders: 51.5 cm P2P: 57 cm Sleeves: 59 cm Length: (w/o collar): 62 cm
  11. Studio d'Artisan just released a WW2 jeans. Not too flashy, a little bit of wonky-ness https://www.dartisan-onlineshop.com/SHOP/D1903.html And in an appropriate cut (read: not relaxed tapered)
  12. A very blue day. SC1945 jacket - UES indigo tee - 45rpm Sorahikohime - Nike (with blue swoosh 😉)
  13. Fit pics with different ways of buttoning. The jacket feels smaller than the measurements suggest. But I don't plan to layer and wear denim jackets mostly in the warmer months with just a tshirt underneath.
  14. According to one of the EMS workers, it was caused by a bottle of Sake which was included as a gift but needs to be taxed as well. Oh well
  15. Ordered when it was released but thanks to a held up in German customs for over 3 weeks, it arrived together with the jeans. 1945 jacket
  16. Although I splurged more on new pairs this year than I "planned", i also sold 3 pairs. So the balance is kinda kept. I will post more pics soon but here are the measurements for the curious. I am a bit surprised of the rather big waist but this is not a problem. The thighs are quite slim though but still good for me. Size 34x34 One-wash Waist: 89 cm / 35" Front rise: 32 cm / 12.6" Back rise: 42 cm / 16.5" Thighs: 33 cm / 13" Knee: 24 cm / 9.45" Leg opening: 22.5 cm / 8.8" Inseam: 88 cm / 34.65"
  17. @Dr_Heech Hey Chaz, the final version of the 1945 looks much closer to the original than the first sample
  18. Changed 3 windows in our secondary dining room (adjacent to the kitchen). Just one more to go. The former owners used this room as some kind of winter garden. We made it a bit more cozy and now it was about time to replace these single-glazed windows to something more substantial. Still need to cover the gaps as well
