i've already become something that i hate.

and i'm hating myself more and more, adding an extra dose of cynicism isn't what i need. i've relied on people and i began to take them for granted. when due to their own flaws they withdrew from me i was exposed and pushed them further away in a vain attempt to retain what i once had.

and this isn't about what it sounds like. it's about nothing really, and the triviality of my insecurities just makes it even worse for me.
