Hopefully other people are smarter than me and will be able to answer my question

I used to be into computer games a long time ago, and today i really had an urge to play age of empires, so i downloaded the trial for aoe 3 - asian dynasties or something, installed it, and tried to play.

when it loads, all i see is a black screen with a massive curser, i hear the music, so obviously it's loaded there's just something wrong with my video settings but i have no idea how to fix it

plz halp
