Paris SALES

I saw a similar thread was just posted, but I was hoping this would focus specifically on the upcoming sale season in Paris. I was hoping to get some additional insight from the Paris shoppers out there on what to expect and what's a definite must see/avoid. If there are similar threads on other forums, please PM them to me or post it here so I can look them over!

So a quick rundown of what I've found out so far, please feel free to correct anything that looks wrong.

-Sales start this week, lasts for 6 weeks?

-General markdowns of 20-30% the first week, continuing up to 50-60% off at the very end

-Men's fashion week is also going on this week so the stores will probably be pretty busy

-Store hours are the same

NOTES:

- Colette: avoid it, products move quickly so minimal sale stuff, mostly everything picked over the first day from tourists

- APC: raw denim very unlikely on sale, other stuff usually on sale

- L'eclaireur: decent markdowns if you can afford it
